How to Enable RCS Messaging on Your Google Pixel Mobile Device.

With verified business profiles carried in Rich Business Messaging (RBM), you can feel confident knowing that you’re interacting with trusted sources. It’s a whole new world of messaging that you won’t want to miss!

If your mobile network operator supports RCS, you’re in luck! The Google Messaging app, which comes pre-installed on your Pixel device, makes it super easy to jump in. As proud Pixel owners, RCS chats are usually enabled by default, but just in case yours isn’t, I’ve got you covered with simple steps to get you in on the action!

Here’s how to enable RCS on your Google Pixel Mobile Device and join the excitement:

1. Open the Google Messaging app.

2. Tap on your Google profile icon in the upper right corner of your messaging inbox.

3. Navigate to “Message settings.”

4. Find “RCS Chats” at the top of the settings menu.

5. Select RCS Chats!

6. You’ll see a toggle icon saying, “Turn on RCS Chats.” Flip that switch!

7. A “Verify my number” button will pop up. Choose your country code, enter your mobile number, and hit “Add Number.”

8. Once that’s all set, your mobile number will show as “Connected.” 

And just like that, you’re ready to send RCS messages and receive eye-catching Rich Business Messages from your favourite brands!
